The truck-mounted Geoprobe® 5410 has been a reliable and efficient workhorse over the years. Our 2011 unit is mounted on an off-road modified Ford F350 Diesel 4x4 which can be up-fitted in the field with aggressive ag/mud tires to traverse the muddiest conditions. The unit has auger-capabilities, is equipped with a GH-42 soil-probing hammer, with 21,700 pounds of down force and 28,900 pounds of retraction force. For assistance with soil and groundwater sampling, each rig is equipped with a MiniRae PID, a peristaltic pump, tubing, a water-level indicator, portable battery packs, an on-board 110V power system, and on-board tank for decon.
The track-mounted 2014 Geoprobe 6712DT is our newest addition. It is equipped with the same powerful Geoprobe GH63 Hammer found on the larger 7822DT rig, but is much lighter with a smaller footprint, allowing more access to hard to reach areas. The rig has high-torque auger capability and can install wells up to 2.0-inch diameter pre-packs using augers or 3.75-inch DPT well installation rods.
